Explore ventilated orchid pots with side openings for airflow and drainage. Choose Pot Only without the matching bottom tray, or Pot + Tray with the matching bottom tray. The tray is included only with Pot + Tray and serves as a drainage base, not a water-catching saucer. Choosing the Right Orchid Pot
Start with the roots, not the flower size. Compare your orchid’s current nursery pot or root mass with the planter’s inner usable diameter before choosing a size.
- Size: Choose the inner diameter that fits the existing root system without adding unnecessary extra space.
- Airflow & drainage: Side openings support air movement around the root area and help excess water drain away.
- Bottom tray: The matching bottom tray is included only with Pot + Tray. It serves as a drainage base, not a water-catching saucer. Let water drain away over a sink or a waterproof surface.
- Potting medium: Use a suitable chunky orchid medium and adjust watering to the orchid, medium, temperature, and humidity.
The outside width and assembled height are larger than the selected inner diameter. All production sizes are limited to a maximum of 31.7 cm (12.48 in) on every outside axis, including the bottom tray.
