Geometric Vase | Nori
Description
Nori, a geometric vase, turns the familiar bottle vase into a bold geometric object. Its rounded body is divided by long vertical ribs, with repeated faceted studs running between them. The smooth shoulder and curved lower edge soften the outline around this pronounced surface pattern.
Seen from the front, the studs form orderly columns; from an angle, their projections become part of the silhouette. This gives Nori a stronger sculptural presence than a vase whose decoration is only a shallow surface texture. Light falling from one side brings out the contrast between the rounded body and angular details. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
Pair it with a few upright dried branches to continue the vertical lines, or use artificial foliage for a softer contrast. On an open shelf or console, leave room beside the vase so its studded profile remains visible. Use Nori as a flower vase for living room styling, choosing dry stems when you want a flower vase for decoration without a water-filled arrangement. For a display of unusual vases, keep the neighbouring shapes quieter; unique flower vases are easier to appreciate when their profiles do not overlap.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a green vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Nori as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
