Cylindrical Vase — Geometric | Lykas
Description
Lykas takes the form of a narrow cylindrical vase with pronounced vertical ribs. Small repeated gaps between those ribs break up the otherwise straight surface, adding a second rhythm within the long lines. The top and lower edge keep the overall outline compact and evenly shaped.
This design relies on repetition rather than a swelling body or dramatic shoulder. The slim uprights give it an architectural character, while the spaces between them make the surface more intricate on close inspection. Showing the vase against a plain background helps the individual ribs remain distinct. The curved body makes this round vase a soft counterpoint to straight shelving, and the round flower vase profile remains visible beneath a light dry arrangement.
Use Lykas for a dry decorative arrangement with slender grasses or artificial stems. Tall, simple stems continue its vertical emphasis; a shorter, spreading arrangement can soften it. It also adds a linear accent beside rounded objects on a shelf. A light dry arrangement turns Lykas into a flower vase for office shelves, while the table flower vase itself supplies the main decorative detail. Among decorative vases, Lykas offers a distinct silhouette that can anchor a shelf of home decor vases without a large floral arrangement.
