Ribbed Vase — Geometric | Lunor
Description
Lunor, a ribbed vase, combines a tapered vase silhouette with a network of curving, intersecting ribs. The body broadens below the short neck and narrows steadily toward the bottom. Across this form, the ribs cross and separate to create elongated diamond-like spaces with softer, less regular edges than a straight lattice.
The surface has a woven quality because the lines appear to change direction around the body. Deep recesses add shadow between the raised strands, while the narrow lower section keeps the overall composition vertical. A three-quarter view shows more of these crossings and their curved paths. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
Style Lunor with a loose dried arrangement whose stems emerge above the compact neck. Artificial foliage can provide a softer contrast to the intersecting geometry. Leave the main body uncovered to show the full transition from its wider shoulders to the narrow base.
