Textured Vase — Geometric | Lomo
Description
Lomo is a tall textured vase built around a repeating zigzag profile. Its sides expand into pointed tiers and draw inward again, while slim ribs trace the changes in direction. The many stacked peaks give the silhouette a rippling rhythm from the bottom to the opening.
The design has detail at two scales: a strongly stepped outline and finer parallel lines within each section. Looking along the side reveals the repeated projections, while the front view emphasizes the full vertical sequence. A plain surface behind the vase makes its distinctive edges easier to read. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
Display Lomo empty when you want the tiered form to be the main feature. A sparse arrangement of dried stems can extend the height without hiding the upper tiers. In a group, pair it with simpler rounded objects that leave the zigzag outline clearly visible. As a designer vase for living room styling, Lomo can sit beside books or framed art, with its detailed side turned toward the room. Pair it with smooth contemporary vases for contrast, or keep the surrounding modern vase decor simple enough to reveal its outline.
