Geometric Vase | Loke
Description
Loke is a geometric vase with two squared volumes connected by an angular, narrowed waist. Broad plain faces give the upper and lower sections a block-like appearance, while sloping planes create the transition between them. The design uses changes in shape rather than a repeated surface texture.
Its central indentation is the defining detail. Turning Loke slightly reveals how the planes step inward and outward around that waist, creating distinct areas of light and shadow. The uninterrupted faces above and below keep the silhouette graphic and easy to recognize. The repeated angles make Loke a geometric vase with a clear structure, giving this geometric flower vase a strong contrast with soft dried foliage.
Pair it with artificial flowers for a contrast between soft petals and the squared body, or use a few dried stems for a more restrained display. Leave the central waist visible, especially on a shelf where surrounding objects might otherwise hide the feature that gives Loke its character. A light dry arrangement turns Loke into a flower vase for office shelves, while the table flower vase itself supplies the main decorative detail. For a display of unusual vases, keep the neighbouring shapes quieter; unique flower vases are easier to appreciate when their profiles do not overlap. For flower vases for centerpieces, keep the dry stems in proportion to the container; table vase centerpieces feel more balanced when the vessel remains visible.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a black vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a white vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. This modern vase works well with restrained flower vase decor, where a few dry stems leave the sculpted surface in view.
