Textured Vase — Geometric | Kimi
Description
Kimi, a textured vase, has a sharply defined silhouette that expands at the upper shoulder and tapers toward a narrow lower section. Long straight fins follow the angular body, giving the vase a faceted, architectural appearance from top to bottom.
The widest part sits close to the opening, so the form feels distinctly different from a round-bottomed bottle vase. Vertical ridges emphasize its length, while the sloping planes between them create alternating bright and shaded faces. The pointed changes in direction remain visible even in a simple, uncluttered setting. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
A narrow bunch of dried stems can continue the upward movement without obscuring the polygonal shoulder. Artificial branches with a light, open arrangement offer a softer contrast to the straight fins. Place Kimi beside lower accessories or a small stack of books to emphasize the height and angular outline of the vase. For flower vases for centerpieces, keep the dry stems in proportion to the container; table vase centerpieces feel more balanced when the vessel remains visible.
