Ribbed Vase — Geometric | Inso
Description
Inso, a ribbed vase, combines broad vertical ribs with fine diagonal texture inside the intervening panels. Its main body is cylindrical, with rounded transitions at the upper and lower ends. The straight divisions give the vase a clear structure, while the smaller angled lines create a contrasting pattern within it.
The two scales of detail make the surface more intricate than ordinary fluting. From farther away, the upright ribs define the form; closer up, the repeated diagonals become visible between them. Turning the vase slightly shows the depth of those panels and the curved ends that soften the silhouette. The parallel relief gives this ribbed vase a changing pattern of highlights, so a ribbed flower vase arrangement stays interesting even with only a few dry stems.
Use Inso with dried grasses to echo the long lines, or artificial blooms to soften the structured body. It is a good fit for a display where texture is welcome but the overall vase shape should remain restrained and straightforward. When arranging decorative vases for living room shelves, let the container set the proportions of the table vase decor around it.
