Fluted Vase — Geometric | Guso
Description
Guso, a fluted vase, brings the structure of a fluted architectural column into a decorative vase. Its rectangular body is divided into panels of fine vertical grooves, with broader raised strips marking the edges and central divisions. Angular breaks along those wider strips add detail to the straight-sided form.
A short round neck rises above the squared body, creating a clear transition between two different geometries. Viewed toward a corner, the vase shows multiple grooved faces and the depth of their framing edges. This perspective reveals more of the design than a perfectly flat front view. The channels make Guso a fluted vase with a strong vertical rhythm, and a simple dry arrangement lets the fluted flower vase remain visible beneath it.
Use Guso with artificial foliage or dried stems that soften its upright geometry. It can sit beside books or a picture frame to continue their straight lines, while the fine grooves introduce texture into an otherwise simple shelf arrangement. When arranging decorative vases for living room shelves, let the container set the proportions of the table vase decor around it.
