Ribbed Vase — Geometric | Donos
Description
Donos, a ribbed vase, pairs a rounded ribbed body with a tall, smooth neck. Fine vertical lines sweep around the bulbous lower section, gathering toward the bottom and beneath the neck. Above them, the plain tapered neck introduces a quieter shape that leads directly to the flower opening.
The transition between these two areas makes the design distinctive. The fuller body feels soft and expansive, while the upper section is narrower and more architectural. This contrast stays visible even from a distance, with the ribbing adding finer detail when the vase is viewed nearby. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
Use Donos with an airy dried arrangement that leaves its smooth neck clear. Artificial stems with a loose spread can echo the rounded lower body without hiding it. The vase also sits comfortably in a mixed display where its curved base contrasts with straight-edged objects. When arranging decorative vases for living room shelves, let the container set the proportions of the table vase decor around it. For a display of unusual vases, keep the neighbouring shapes quieter; unique flower vases are easier to appreciate when their profiles do not overlap.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a grey vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a red vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Donos as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
