Round Vase — Openwork | Arik
Description
Arik is a rounded round vase divided into broad curved vertical panels. Narrow ladder-like openings separate those panels, tracing the outline from the upper neck through the fullest part of the body toward the lower edge.
The design balances large smooth surfaces with small repeated gaps. Those slim patterned strips emphasize the curve of the vase without covering it in an all-over lattice, leaving the swelling body easy to read. The panels draw closer at the neck, giving the upper section a gathered appearance beneath the stems. The curved body makes this round vase a soft counterpoint to straight shelving, and the round flower vase profile remains visible beneath a light dry arrangement.
For a balanced display, use dried flowers or artificial foliage with a loose shape above the narrow opening. Turning Arik slightly changes which panel and slotted strip face the room. Its combination of broad curves and fine repeated detail works well on a plain sideboard, especially beside a low accessory with a simpler surface. As a designer vase for living room styling, Arik can sit beside books or framed art, with its detailed side turned toward the room. Pair it with smooth contemporary vases for contrast, or keep the surrounding modern vase decor simple enough to reveal its outline.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a pink vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a purple vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Arik as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
