Geometric Vase — Ribbed | Anter

Anter, a geometric vase, builds its silhouette from two pleated geometric forms joined visually by a smooth central band. The larger lower section widens into an angular body before drawing inward, while the smaller upper section repeats that faceted shape around the flower opening. Fine ribs run along both volumes.

The result is a distinctly tiered vase with a narrow waist and a strong vertical composition. Its smooth middle section interrupts the pleats, making the transition between the upper and lower forms part of the design. Even without stems, the changing widths give Anter the presence of a small decorative sculpture. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.

An airy arrangement of dried flowers or a few artificial stems lets the upper shape remain visible. Place it where the entire outline can be seen, such as a console or open shelf, rather than hiding its central band behind surrounding objects. For flower vases for centerpieces, keep the dry stems in proportion to the container; table vase centerpieces feel more balanced when the vessel remains visible. Pair it with smooth contemporary vases for contrast, or keep the surrounding modern vase decor simple enough to reveal its outline.

For the Outdoor finish, choose a pink vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a purple vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. This modern vase works well with restrained flower vase decor, where a few dry stems leave the sculpted surface in view.
