Geometric Vase — Twisted | Twis
Description
Twis, a geometric vase, builds a tall sculptural vase from stacked angular folds. Broad faceted bands turn around the body, creating a zigzag silhouette with projecting corners and deep recesses between one section and the next.
The design has an origami-like character, with crisp planes taking the place of rounded ribs. Each level changes direction, so the outline appears to rotate as it rises toward the opening. The strongest visual effect comes from the contrast between the sharp edges and the larger smooth faces that catch light across them. The repeated angles make Twis a geometric vase with a clear structure, giving this geometric flower vase a strong contrast with soft dried foliage.
Keep dried or artificial stems relatively simple so the folded body can remain the main feature. A few upright branches offer a useful counterpoint to the repeated changes in direction. Twis works well against a plain wall or on an uncluttered console, where its angular profile can be appreciated from several viewpoints without being hidden by nearby objects. When arranging decorative vases for living room shelves, let the container set the proportions of the table vase decor around it. Pair it with smooth contemporary vases for contrast, or keep the surrounding modern vase decor simple enough to reveal its outline.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a green vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Twis as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
