Hanging Planter Tessaro — Self-Watering with Reservoir and Wicks
Description
Make room for more greenery without crowding your shelves with Tessaro, a hanging planter and self-watering planter in one. Its rope-suspended design brings plants into view while a matching removable water reservoir sits beneath the planting section.
Wicks connect the reservoir to the potting mix, carrying moisture upward through the base. Unlike a standard drainage saucer, the lower section stores water for the wick system and detaches for refilling and cleaning. Choose a plant and growing mix suited to wick watering, and check the reservoir and soil regularly because water use varies with the plant, conditions and pot size.
A basket-weave pattern, diagonal ridges, raised dots and crackle-style relief give the rounded body a different texture from every angle. Let trailing foliage frame the patterned sides near a window, or use the Outdoor version in a sheltered spot above your patio. Secure the planter to a support suitable for its full watered weight and keep it within easy reach for care.
Choose Indoor in PLA, Outdoor in ASA, or Wood Texture in Wood Fiber PLA for indoor use, with colors from the palette for your chosen material. Sizes from 4 to 9 inches refer to the usable inner diameter, not the overall outside width. Each piece is made to order in your selected size and color. Listing photos show the design rather than a fixed color and may show different sizes or color combinations.
How to set up
- Moisten the wicks and suitable potting mix, then arrange the cords on the side and center supports so they remain in contact with the mix.
- Pass the wick ends through the base openings so they reach the bottom of the reservoir and remain in contact with water; keep the water level below the planting base.
- Securely reattach the reservoir before hanging, then check the soil and water level regularly. For the Outdoor version, remove excess water after rainfall.
