Sculptural Planter | Vori 2
Description
Vori 2, a sculptural planter, places a smooth cylindrical planter above a contrasting patterned lower section. The upper body has a clean, uninterrupted outline, while the shorter base introduces an irregular network of small geometric openings. This clear division is the defining feature of the design.
Most of the visual weight sits in the plain cylinder. The detailed lower band adds a lighter-looking transition beneath it and draws attention to the point where the two forms meet. Straight sides keep the overall composition precise and easy to read. The form makes Vori 2 a sculptural planter that can hold its place in an arrangement even before the plant fills out; this sculpture planter keeps the container part of the composition.
Vori 2 suits displays that combine restrained shapes with a small amount of distinctive texture. An upright plant continues the cylinder's vertical emphasis, while a low table or shelf lets the patterned lower section remain visible instead of disappearing among other objects. For a collection of unique planters, keep the planting simple enough for the shape to show; unusual plant pots work best when their defining details remain visible. Arrange this table planter beside books or a lamp, allowing a little space between neighbouring pots and planters.
