Lattice Planter — Flowing Texture | Rydan
Description
Rydan, a lattice planter, has a double-curved silhouette wrapped in a diamond lattice. The upper and lower sections swell outward around a narrower middle, giving the patterned body a gently pinched profile.
The lattice changes shape as it crosses that waist. Diamonds appear longer and more compressed in different parts of the surface, creating a rhythm that follows the volume of the pot. This makes Rydan more than a simple patterned cylinder: the texture and the silhouette work together. The changes in surface and outline make Rydan a geometric planter that can add a clear accent to a grouping of modern planters.
A plant with spreading foliage can repeat the outward curve at the top, while the lower half remains visible beneath it. Display Rydan where the central indentation can be seen from the side. It adds a distinctive outline to a group of single rounded pots or clean straight-sided vessels without needing a complicated surrounding arrangement. For a collection of unique planters, keep the planting simple enough for the shape to show; unusual plant pots work best when their defining details remain visible.
Select the drainage option when you want a planter with drainage, and match the growing medium to your plant just as you would for other plant pots with drainage. For the Outdoor finish, choose a black planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a white planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. For succulent pots, choose drainage and a size suited to the roots; the same model can serve as a cactus plant pot when the growing conditions suit the plant.
