Indoor Planter — Geometric | Pilas
Description
Pilas is a two-tier indoor planter with a pronounced central waist and a dense sequence of vertical fins. Both sections flare outward before turning inward again, creating a stacked geometric silhouette with crisp, repeated edges.
The upper and lower tiers echo one another, while the narrow middle separates them clearly. Fine upright lines connect the folds visually from top to bottom, giving the body an accordion-like rhythm. The design relies on changes in profile rather than an additional all-over motif.
Pilas works well beneath branching greenery that softens the angular structure. Keep the center exposed so the two-part shape remains visible within the arrangement. A plain tabletop or open shelf gives the flared sections space to show, especially when the pot is seen from the side with light falling across the narrow fins. For a grouping of modern indoor planters, combine Pilas with simpler plant pots so its own surface can remain the point of interest.
Choose the opening option when comparing plant pots with drainage holes, then treat the selected drainage pot as part of the plant’s regular watering routine. For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a green planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Pilas as a succulent planter with the drainage option, keeping the root space and growing medium appropriate for succulent plant pots. The solid-base version can be used as a cachepot planter around a separate nursery container; compare both measurements, as you would when fitting other cache pots.
