Round Planter — Ribbed | Melfi
Description
Melfi is a low, round planter with extremely fine vertical grooves across the body. The silhouette swells outward through the middle and draws inward at the top and bottom, creating a softly compressed form.
The close lines add texture without breaking the broad shape into large segments. At a distance, Melfi reads as a quiet rounded volume; nearer to the pot, the fine ribbing becomes a more visible part of the surface. This restrained treatment gives the design a different character from deeply fluted or sharply faceted planters. Its lower proportions make this bowl planter useful when a shallow planter shape suits the composition; check the root-space measurements before selecting a plant.
Melfi can provide a calm shape beneath an expressive leafy plant. Place it where the lower curve remains exposed, allowing the subtle texture to show against a plain surface. It pairs especially well with more angular objects when you want a softer outline within the display. Choose Melfi as a modern planter when you want a decorative planter to contribute shape as well as a setting for the leaves.
For succulent pots, choose drainage and a size suited to the roots; the same model can serve as a cactus plant pot when the growing conditions suit the plant. Select the drainage option when you want a planter with drainage, and match the growing medium to your plant just as you would for other plant pots with drainage. For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a green planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form.
