Lattice Planter — Woven Texture | Maka
Description
Maka is a lattice planter with long diagonal lines crossing into an elongated diamond lattice. The raised framework follows the full middle of the body and draws inward toward both the opening and lower edge.
The diamonds are relatively tall and narrow, giving the exterior a vertical emphasis despite its generous rounded outline. Their intersecting edges catch the light separately from the darker intervals, creating a layered pattern around the curve. The design suggests woven structure while remaining clearly geometric. The changes in surface and outline make Maka a geometric planter that can add a clear accent to a grouping of modern planters.
A plant with visible branching stems allows the full lattice to remain in view. Maka can add an intricate surface to a group of smoother bowls or cylinders without introducing a completely different overall shape. Position it with space around the widest section so the crossing lines can be followed as they wrap around the sides. Arrange this table planter beside books or a lamp, allowing a little space between neighbouring pots and planters. Pair Maka with contemporary planters in quieter shapes, or let it stand alone among modern plant pots on an open shelf. Keep foliage slightly clear of the sides so the flower planters remain visible as decorative pots within the overall arrangement.
