Round Planter — Openwork Organic | Pulp
Description
Pulp is a round planter with an irregular open-cell outer shell around a smooth inner planting vessel. Numerous oval and softly angular openings form a continuous network across the fuller body. The cells vary in size and direction, giving the exterior an organic rather than strictly geometric rhythm.
The inner vessel provides a quieter form behind the detailed shell. Raised borders between the cells create another layer of depth and become more apparent as the body curves away from view. The rounded silhouette keeps the intricate network gathered into a compact shape.
Pulp works well where the relationship between the outer shell and inner form can be seen. Use relatively open foliage and a restrained backdrop to expose the cellular pattern. Space around the sides helps show the full curve of the body. Pair Pulp with contemporary planters in quieter shapes, or let it stand alone among modern plant pots on an open shelf.
Choose the opening option when comparing plant pots with drainage holes, then treat the selected drainage pot as part of the plant’s regular watering routine. Use Pulp as a succulent planter with the drainage option, keeping the root space and growing medium appropriate for succulent plant pots. For the Outdoor finish, choose a pink planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a purple planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. The smaller options suit a compact grouping of small plant pots; leave enough room between small flower pots to water each plant comfortably. The relief is part of the 3D printed planter itself, giving this unique planter detail that follows the shape of the whole body.
