Pedestal Plant Stand — Tall Sculptural | Obel
Description
Obel is a pedestal plant stand with a wide circular top and a tapered central body. The base narrows as it rises, then opens beneath the platform to create a pronounced waist. Its smooth surfaces keep attention on this continuous change in shape rather than a textured pattern.
The broad top creates a strong horizontal edge above the cone-like lower section. A rounded planter repeats that circular form, while the narrow center gives the display a more elevated, stem-like appearance. Viewed from the side, the stand's outline remains clear and uncluttered. The circular platform makes Obel a round plant stand; center a compatible container on the round pot stand so the edge stays visible.
Use Obel when you want to raise a plant with a single sculptural form below it. It works especially well beside lower pots, where the tapered pedestal introduces a different profile. A placement with open space around the base lets the flared platform and narrow waist remain visible beneath the foliage. Use the plant pedestal indoors as a standalone base, or place this planter pedestal beside a lower pot to create a change in height. When grouping risers for plant pots, vary their heights gently; pot risers for plants should complement the container rather than hide its lower details.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a black plant stand to coordinate with similar accents, or a white plant stand to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. For plant stands for indoor plants, start with the pot footprint and the space around it; a house plant stand should leave the container stable and accessible. Use pot risers to vary the height of a grouped display, choosing plant pot risers whose supporting area matches each container.
