Pedestal Planter — Lattice Base | Cella
Description
Cella, a pedestal planter, combines an irregular lattice shell with a smooth inner planting vessel and a cylindrical pedestal base. Small angular openings form a web around the upper body, while the lower support remains comparatively plain. A narrower connection between them gives the planter a distinctly elevated silhouette.
The two levels of texture create a clear hierarchy: intricate geometry above and a quieter solid form below. The lattice changes direction rather than repeating identical diamonds. Its open-looking structure contrasts with the clean outline of the inner vessel. The repeated framework gives this lattice planter a distinct place among unusual planters, especially when the surrounding display stays simple.
Cella suits a display where the planter can be appreciated as a complete sculptural form. Keep the pedestal visible and use relatively open greenery to expose the upper shell. A plain background helps the small irregular cells remain readable around the curved body. For a grouping of modern indoor planters, combine Cella with simpler plant pots so its own surface can remain the point of interest. In a group of indoor house plant pots, leave a little space around Cella; unique plant pots need enough room for their individual outlines to show.
Choose the available size and color for a custom planter, with the detailed surface giving this handmade planter its individual character. The relief is part of the 3D printed planter itself, giving this unique planter detail that follows the shape of the whole body.
