Round Plant Stand — Fluted Pedestal | Pillar
Description
Pillar is a round plant stand with a straight cylindrical body and closely repeated vertical ribs. The uninterrupted lines run from the upper edge to the base, creating a column-like form beneath the planter. Its pronounced grooves give the otherwise simple silhouette a strong architectural texture.
The ribs alternate between light and shadow as they turn around the body. Unlike an open-legged stand, the continuous column creates a solid visual area below the pot. The top stays within the same overall outline, keeping attention on the vertical pattern rather than a projecting shelf. The raised form gives this plant pedestal a clear silhouette, so leave the sides of the pedestal plant stand visible in the display.
Use Pillar to introduce a clear upright element among lower planters or rounded containers. A bowl-shaped pot creates a particularly strong contrast with the straight sides, while a simple cylinder continues the column effect. The design works best where enough of the fluted body remains visible to show its full rhythm.
