Modern Wall Planter — Quilted | Kivu
Description
Kivu is a modern wall planter with a deep, quilted surface that resembles padded upholstery. Rounded sections meet at recessed points, creating a repeating tufted pattern across the curved front. The relief gives the container a soft visual character while its compact outline keeps the wall-mounted form clearly defined.
The gathered points and raised sections create changing areas of light and shadow. This makes the texture noticeable from across a room and more detailed when viewed close up. Inside, the planting area is smooth, separating the practical cavity from the strongly sculpted exterior.
Kivu pairs well with small rounded leaves that echo the soft geometry of the surface. Trailing stems can frame the sides while leaving the central tufted pattern visible. Use it as a textured accent on a plain wall or beside simple, straight-lined furniture, where the contrast in shape allows the rounded relief to become a clear part of the display. The sculpted body becomes part of the plant wall decor, while the changing foliage adds a living element to the plant wall art. The defined surface makes Kivu a unique wall planter, adding detail below the foliage in a wall flower pot display.
Choose drainage and a suitable position when using Kivu as a succulent wall planter; the wall mounted succulent planter still needs light and root space suited to the plant. For interior wall planters, begin with the dimensions of the available space; small wall planters can add greenery beside artwork without covering the surrounding wall. For the Outdoor finish, choose a black wall planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a white wall planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form.
