Cylindrical Vase — Geometric | Xiomu
Description
Xiomu turns a straight cylindrical vase into a sequence of rounded, pod-like forms. Each raised element surrounds an oval recess, and the repeated shapes sit in closely aligned rows around the full height of the body.
The texture is deep and sculptural, with curved ridges giving way to small pockets of shadow. Although the surface is busy, its regular arrangement keeps the overall design organized. From farther away, Xiomu reads as a softly segmented column; from nearby, the individual oval cavities become the main attraction. The curved body makes this round vase a soft counterpoint to straight shelving, and the round flower vase profile remains visible beneath a light dry arrangement.
Try dried grasses or a simple artificial arrangement with long stems to echo the upright silhouette. A smooth backdrop and a little space around the vase will keep the dense pattern legible. Xiomu is particularly effective beside objects with broad, plain surfaces, where its rounded relief can provide texture without needing additional decorative detail in the same grouping. As a designer vase for living room styling, Xiomu can sit beside books or framed art, with its detailed side turned toward the room. Treat Xiomu as a sculptural vase in its own right, giving it the same breathing room you would reserve for other unique vases.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a green vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Xiomu as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
