Cylindrical Vase — Geometric | Landis
Description
Landis is a tall cylindrical vase with an alternating pattern of broad vertical ribs and slender diagonal grooves. The straight raised sections divide the body into long panels, while the finer angled lines introduce movement within those divisions. A level upper edge preserves its clean column-like outline.
The contrast is subtle in silhouette and stronger across the surface. From a distance, Landis reads as a simple upright vase; closer inspection reveals the shift between straight framing lines and diagonal texture. A slightly angled view shows several panels and brings out this layered arrangement. The curved body makes this round vase a soft counterpoint to straight shelving, and the round flower vase profile remains visible beneath a light dry arrangement.
Try Landis with long dried grasses or a small group of artificial stems to continue its height.
