Bottle Vase — Botanical | Kivan
Description
Kivan is a rounded bottle vase with closely spaced ribs sweeping diagonally around the body. The wider lower section curves into a short narrow neck, while the rib pattern creates a gentle spiral across the entire surface. Its outline stays soft and full despite the strong direction of the lines.
The continuous sweep gives the vase a sense of movement without separate tiers or projecting angular panels. From the front, the ribs appear to rise across the curved body; from the side, their path around the form becomes more apparent. Side lighting brings out the depth of the narrow channels. The parallel relief gives this ribbed vase a changing pattern of highlights, so a ribbed flower vase arrangement stays interesting even with only a few dry stems.
Use Kivan with loosely arranged dried foliage to echo its organic curves, or a small artificial bouquet that leaves the shoulders visible. It can anchor a shelf grouping with its fuller proportions while adding a flowing texture to the display. For flower vases for centerpieces, keep the dry stems in proportion to the container; table vase centerpieces feel more balanced when the vessel remains visible. For a display of unusual vases, keep the neighbouring shapes quieter; unique flower vases are easier to appreciate when their profiles do not overlap.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a pink vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a purple vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Kivan as a flower vase for a dry arrangement, or leave this table vase unfilled so the complete shape remains visible.
