Sculptural Planter | Viris
Description
Viris, a sculptural planter, surrounds a rounded body with elongated loop-like shapes that resemble a repeating chain of petals. The curves rise and cross around the planter, creating large teardrop outlines above a smaller pattern near the lower edge.
The repeated loops give the design a flowing rhythm, while the intersections introduce sharper points of detail. Deep recessed areas help the outer pattern stand apart from the body. Its character lies in the contrast between the soft round volume and the clearly drawn curved framework. This round planter lets the surface pattern continue around the body, so the round plant pot can be appreciated from more than one viewing angle.
Let the sides remain visible when styling Viris. A few upright stems show the loop pattern clearly, while broader foliage creates an organic canopy above it. A quiet display surface helps distinguish the larger upper shapes from the finer details near the bottom of the pot. Among indoor plant pots, this design suits a display where decorative planters remain visible beneath the leaves.
