Geometric Planter — Textured | Velux
Description
Velux, a geometric planter, has a broad, rounded body covered in elongated, folded diamond shapes. Raised ridges cross around the exterior, creating an origami-like lattice with deep spaces between the intersecting lines.
The pattern grows visually wider around the full middle section and draws closer together toward the opening and lower edge. That change gives the surface a sense of tension across the curved body. The pointed folds make Velux more angular than a softly woven-looking planter, even though its overall outline remains round.
Broad leaves can echo the larger volumes while contrasting with the sharp folds below. An open display area helps the diamond structure remain visible around the sides. Use Velux as the textured focal object among quieter forms, especially where the planter can be viewed from more than one angle. Pair Velux with contemporary planters in quieter shapes, or let it stand alone among modern plant pots on an open shelf. Place Velux where the plant receives suitable light, bringing the detail of flower pots for indoor plants into a group of interior plant pots.
