Indoor Planter — Ribbed | Povan
Description
Povan is a two-tier indoor planter with rounded lobes stacked around a narrow central waist. Broad vertical grooves follow both sections, giving the body a softly segmented silhouette with a clear upper and lower half.
The repeated curves make the design feel full and compact rather than straight-sided. A contrasting color arrangement can emphasize the two sections, while the continuous rhythm of the ribs keeps them visually connected. The central indentation is the key detail that gives Povan its recognizable profile.
An upright plant draws attention to the rounded form below it. Keep the middle visible beneath the foliage to retain the stacked effect, particularly if using a fuller plant. Povan can add a double-curved shape to a group of plain bowls or cylinders, with enough space around the sides for both tiers to show. For a collection of unique planters, keep the planting simple enough for the shape to show; unusual plant pots work best when their defining details remain visible.
For succulent pots, choose drainage and a size suited to the roots; the same model can serve as a cactus plant pot when the growing conditions suit the plant. Select the hole-and-tray option for a plant pot with saucer, matching the plant pot and saucer combination to the surface where it will be displayed. The smaller options suit a compact grouping of small plant pots; leave enough room between small flower pots to water each plant comfortably. Select the drainage option when you want a planter with drainage, and match the growing medium to your plant just as you would for other plant pots with drainage.
