Indoor Planter — Ribbed | Milo
Description
Milo, an indoor planter, has two softly rounded sections stacked around a narrow middle. Close vertical ribs curve over both halves, creating a continuous pleated pattern across the double-lobed silhouette.
The change in volume gives the body a gentle hourglass effect, with the upper and lower sections both swelling outward. A contrasting color arrangement makes the division more apparent, while the repeated ribs visually connect the two forms. Milo's outline remains rounded even where the middle draws inward.
Loose or trailing greenery can soften the structured repetition, with some of the central waist left exposed. An upright plant makes the two-part shape more prominent beneath it. Set Milo where the full body is visible from the side, allowing the stacked curves to become a clear feature among simpler single-volume planters or plain accessories. For a grouping of modern indoor planters, combine Milo with simpler plant pots so its own surface can remain the point of interest. Keep foliage slightly clear of the sides so the flower planters remain visible as decorative pots within the overall arrangement.
Choose the available size and color for a custom planter, with the detailed surface giving this handmade planter its individual character. Select the hole-and-tray option for a plant pot with saucer, matching the plant pot and saucer combination to the surface where it will be displayed. With the drainage option and suitable light, Milo can be an indoor herb planter for a compact plant; herb pots indoors still need room for the roots to develop. For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a green planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form.
