Geometric Planter — Ribbed | Jasen
Description
Jasen, a geometric planter, has a narrow upper section and a broad, angular lower shoulder. Long vertical fins sweep outward before turning inward toward the bottom, creating a flared silhouette reminiscent of a sculptural lampshade.
The ribs are slender near the opening and become more prominent as the body widens. Their sharp change in direction gives the lower section its distinctive folded appearance. Light travels along the raised edges while the deep intervals emphasize the difference between the narrow top and the wider body.
An upright or loosely branching plant can rise cleanly above Jasen's defined upper edge. Position the pot with room around the widest part of its profile so the flared shape stays visible. It makes a strong geometric element on a plain surface, particularly where its side outline can be seen clearly. Among indoor plant pots, this design suits a display where decorative planters remain visible beneath the leaves.
When choosing indoor planters with drainage, select the opening option here; pots with drainage holes still need excess water emptied from any tray after watering. Select the hole-and-tray option for a plant pot with saucer, matching the plant pot and saucer combination to the surface where it will be displayed. For the Outdoor finish, choose a black planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a white planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Use Jasen as a succulent planter with the drainage option, keeping the root space and growing medium appropriate for succulent plant pots.
