Round Planter — Flowing Texture | Alio
Description
Alio is a cylindrical round planter with narrow vertical bands that bend into repeated zigzags. The pattern creates a sharply pleated middle section, while straighter lines around the top and bottom give the busy geometry a clear frame.
The angular turns catch light along their edges and leave darker recesses between them. Seen from the side, the zigzags create a stepped texture; from the front, they form a dense, ordered rhythm around the pot. Its distinctive quality is the change in direction within each upright band.
Alio works well beneath simple stems or broad leaves that contrast with the small repeated angles. On an uncluttered shelf, the textured middle becomes the decorative focus. Leave the upper and lower bands visible to show how the geometric pattern is contained within the cylindrical form. For a collection of unique planters, keep the planting simple enough for the shape to show; unusual plant pots work best when their defining details remain visible.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a blue planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a green planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Select the drainage option when you want a planter with drainage, and match the growing medium to your plant just as you would for other plant pots with drainage. For succulent pots, choose drainage and a size suited to the roots; the same model can serve as a cactus plant pot when the growing conditions suit the plant. The smaller options suit a compact grouping of small plant pots; leave enough room between small flower pots to water each plant comfortably.
