Round Planter — Ribbed Low-Profile | Koro
Description
Koro is a low, round planter with dense vertical ribs around its body. The sides swell outward and curve back toward the opening, creating a broad, compact silhouette. Each rib follows this rounded profile, giving the surface a continuous architectural rhythm.
The relatively low form keeps the emphasis on width and texture rather than height. Slim channels between the ribs create closely spaced lines of shadow, while the raised edges catch light across the fullest part of the pot. The restrained opening lets the repeated fluting remain the main decorative feature. Its lower proportions make this bowl planter useful when a shallow planter shape suits the composition; check the root-space measurements before selecting a plant.
Koro works well with a compact plant or open branching greenery that leaves the rounded sides visible. An uncluttered shelf or tabletop gives the low profile room to read, especially beside taller, simpler objects. For a collection of unique planters, keep the planting simple enough for the shape to show; unusual plant pots work best when their defining details remain visible. Place Koro where the plant receives suitable light, bringing the detail of flower pots for indoor plants into a group of interior plant pots.
Choose a plant with a root ball suited to the selected size, as you would with other flower pots and planters for indoor plants. For the Outdoor finish, choose a black planter to coordinate with similar accents, or a white planter to change the contrast around the same sculpted form.
