Plant Trellis — Looped Arch | Loop Arc
Description
Loop Arc is a plant trellis formed from a rising sequence of elongated, rounded loops. The loops overlap and shift from side to side, creating a loose zigzag outline above the planter. This repeated curved pattern gives a climbing plant a more fluid path than a straight ladder-shaped support.
The broad openings leave room for leaves to project beyond the frame while slender stems follow the curved lines. Each loop remains readable as part of the whole, even when sections are covered by foliage. The open construction lets the plant and trellis contribute equally to the silhouette.
Use Loop Arc for a lightweight vine that you want to train upward with a little lateral movement. It is particularly effective against an uncluttered background, where the overlapping ovals can be seen between the leaves. The rounded ends make a gentle visual partner for heart-shaped or softly curved foliage. An indoor plant trellis can shape a compact display from the start, while the houseplant trellis remains visible between new leaves. Keep some of the pattern exposed when using decorative indoor plant stakes, so the decorative indoor plant supports contribute to the room as the leaves develop.
As a plant support, Loop Arc gives soft stems a route through the pattern; place plant support stakes carefully to avoid damaging established roots. Position this pot trellis before arranging the stems, and check the available root space when choosing a trellis for pots already filled with plants. Place indoor plant support stakes gently among the roots, using loose ties as needed with plant supports for indoor plants.
