Indoor Plant Trellis — Hummingbird Hibiscus | Nectra
Description
Nectra is a hummingbird and hibiscus indoor plant trellis with an open tropical composition. The bird reaches toward a large flower with a prominent center, while long leaves, curled stems, and split-leaf forms connect the scene below. Its irregular silhouette follows the botanical details instead of a surrounding frame.
The hummingbird's raised wing gives the top of the design a strong upward movement. Broad flower petals create a contrasting focal area beside it, and smaller openings in the lower foliage provide places for lightweight stems to be arranged. The different shapes leave room for the background to remain visible.
Use Nectra to add a tropical garden scene to a compact climbing plant. A simple container keeps the flower and bird prominent, while real leaves can overlap the lower cutouts. Leaving some open space around the hibiscus helps the central interaction between bird and flower remain readable as the vine grows. The house plant trellis creates structure behind a young climber, with a plant support trellis that remains decorative while the foliage develops.
Choose the height of this trellis for potted plants around the container, keeping a small plant trellis in proportion to the vine it supports.
