Textured Vase — Ribbed | Mantis
Description
Mantis, a textured vase, forms an elongated vase from an open network of curved lines. The body broadens around the middle and narrows at both ends, with tall oval and diamond-like openings stretching through the outer framework.
The pattern is more fluid than a regular grid, as each opening bends with the surrounding structure. Broad curves give the body its fullness, while pointed joins keep the outline defined. Because much of the center is visible, the vase has an airy appearance that changes with the background and the arrangement inside it. The relief makes this textured vase read as an abstract vase as well as a container, particularly when light falls across the surface from one side.
Choose dried branches or artificial stems whose lines you want to include in the display. A few carefully spaced stems can echo the tall openings without filling every gap. Place Mantis where the open sides can remain visible, such as a simple console or a shelf with a plain backdrop, to emphasize its sculptural framework. Use Mantis as a flower vase for living room styling, choosing dry stems when you want a flower vase for decoration without a water-filled arrangement. For a display of unusual vases, keep the neighbouring shapes quieter; unique flower vases are easier to appreciate when their profiles do not overlap. When arranging decorative vases for living room shelves, let the container set the proportions of the table vase decor around it.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a grey vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a red vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Choose this modern flower vase for dried or artificial stems when you want a flower vase for table styling with a visible sculptural form.
