Ribbed Vase — Geometric | Leris
Description
Leris is a rounded ribbed vase with a smooth band around its lower section. Long raised ribs spread over the fuller middle and draw together beneath the short neck. Their lower ends meet the plain base area, creating a clear contrast between the sculpted body and its quieter finish.
The rounded silhouette has a soft, bud-like quality, while the broad vertical divisions add structure. Side lighting emphasizes the channels between the ribs and the way they curve across the shoulder. The smooth lower band keeps the base visually simple beneath that deeper pattern. The parallel relief gives this ribbed vase a changing pattern of highlights, so a ribbed flower vase arrangement stays interesting even with only a few dry stems.
Pair Leris with a loose artificial arrangement or dried foliage that echoes the gentle curves. Let the lower band remain visible so the contrast between plain and ribbed areas can be appreciated. It works as a standalone accent or beside objects with straighter, more angular outlines.
