Short Wide Vase | Kario Short
Description
Kario Short is a short wide vase with a narrow upper section and a dramatic outward flare. Broad ribs sweep down from the opening toward pointed shoulders, then turn inward along the lower body. The shortened proportions emphasize the spread of those ribs and the angular outline.
Its geometry is especially apparent when viewed slightly from above, where the ribs fan around the central opening. From the side, the wide shoulder and low lower section give the vase a grounded profile. The large divisions create depth without relying on a dense repeating texture. This short wide vase keeps the arrangement visually close to its surface, making it a short flower vase for a compact grouping of dry stems.
Use Kario Short with an airy artificial arrangement or dried stems that rise above the narrow neck. It can anchor a lower shelf or tabletop display, where the full width remains visible and surrounding objects do not hide the sculpted points at the shoulders. A light dry arrangement turns Kario Short into a flower vase for office shelves, while the table flower vase itself supplies the main decorative detail. Pair it with smooth contemporary vases for contrast, or keep the surrounding modern vase decor simple enough to reveal its outline.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a black vase to coordinate with similar accents, or a white vase to change the contrast around the same sculpted form.
