Orchid Pot — Curved Openwork | Oli
Description
Oli is an orchid pot with curved vertical ribs arranged around a distinctive double-bulged body. Two rounded sections sit above one another, joined by an inward curve through the middle. The continuous ribs follow this changing outline, giving the open container the profile of a softly stacked sculptural form.
Tall spaces between the ribs reveal the planting area and emphasise the narrow waist. The paired curves catch light differently, creating a horizontal rhythm within the otherwise vertical structure. This makes Oli recognisable even when much of the upper edge is covered by orchid foliage. The repeated open channels give Oli the airy structure of slotted orchid pots, with a decorative outline around the spaces found in slotted pots for orchids.
The rounded shape pairs naturally with arching leaves and curved flower stems. Oli can act as the central container on a plant table, where its layered silhouette is easy to see from the side. Keep nearby accessories low or simple so the two curved sections remain visible beneath the leaves. Arrange unusual orchid pots against a simple backdrop, letting the flowers and the forms of beautiful orchid pots contribute different kinds of detail.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a pink orchid pot to coordinate with similar accents, or a purple orchid pot to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Select a smaller inner diameter when you need a small orchid pot, keeping the root space of the small orchid planter proportionate to the plant. The open structure makes Oli an orchid planter with holes around the sides; as with other pots with holes for orchids, choose medium pieces that will stay inside the openings.
