Orchid Planter Pot — Curved Open Slats | Arik
Description
Arik is a rounded orchid planter pot built from broad, bowed vertical panels. The panels curve outward through a full middle, then draw inward toward the opening and base. Narrow gaps separate the smooth-looking sections, with small crosspieces forming a ladder-like detail along the open channels.
The wide panels make the body read as a clear, sculptural volume. The slimmer channels add a second, more delicate pattern and reveal portions of the root area between the larger sections. Together, these features create a segmented, globe-like container with a distinctive balance of solid-looking surfaces and small openings.
Arik provides a rounded foundation for an orchid with long flower stems and foliage that spreads above the rim. The broad curved panels are particularly easy to appreciate when the container stands on an uncluttered surface. Leave the sides visible so the narrow open channels can be seen between the larger sections. The orchid flower pot remains visible below the blooms, bringing a sculptural element to a group of orchid plant holders.
For the Outdoor finish, choose a black orchid pot to coordinate with similar accents, or a white orchid pot to change the contrast around the same sculpted form. Select a smaller inner diameter when you need a small orchid pot, keeping the root space of the small orchid planter proportionate to the plant. The open design leaves spaces between the decorative sections, a useful consideration when choosing orchid plant containers and orchid growing pots for an airy display. Select the tray option if you want an orchid pot with saucer; the orchid pot and saucer combination should be emptied after watering rather than left in standing water.
