Use a small pot close to the shallow root mass and increase diameter gradually as offsets form. Earth Star is a terrestrial rosette, not a tank bromeliad, so water the root zone without keeping the crown flooded.
Choose a pot 1–2 inches wider than the root ball or divided clump. Oyster Plant spreads by offsets, so crowding at the crown is a better sizing signal than the length of its sword-shaped leaves.
