Choose a draining pot about 1–2 inches wider than the crown and verify usable depth for the plant’s developing taproot. Parsley benefits more from adequate depth than from an unnecessarily broad wet container.

Use a four-inch pot for one young plant, then size up as roots fill the container. Crowded supermarket clumps should be divided; a large group in one small root ball competes for light, water, and airflow.

Choose a pot about 1–2 inches wider than the root ball of this compact woody shrub. Heavy fruit can make the canopy top-heavy, but ballast should come from a stable fitted cachepot—not excess wet soil.
